A People’s History of the American Revolution (2001) by Ray Raphael BOOK REVIEW
This book is one of the required books for a U. S. History class at Yale University. I did not find it an easy book to read. Chapter 5 Native Americans was especially hard to keep track of. This book goes BEYOND the coverage found in most high school U. S. History textbooks. Many interesting facts and information is dealt with in this book. A number of points appear to be repeated a number of times.
It is hard to rate this book—on information it would rate a 9 or 10 –on ease of reading about a 6 or 7.
YES, it is a good book.
